If you sign in with Google, we receive your Google account name, email, and profile picture as returned by Google's OAuth API.

• To create and manage your Linkfy profile and account.
• To display your public profile page at linkfy.lol/your-username.
• To track analytics (page views and link clicks) for your profile.
• To communicate with you about your account and service updates.
• To prevent abuse, fraud, and unauthorized access.

3. Data Storage

Your account data and profile information are stored securely in our database. Passwords are hashed using the scrypt algorithm with unique salts and are never stored in plain text. Analytics data is stored as aggregate counters and is not linked to individual visitors.

Linkfy uses essential cookies to maintain your authentication session. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies. The only cookies we set are the session cookie (for keeping you logged in) and the admin session cookie (for admin panel access).

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties. Your public profile (display name, bio, avatar, links, and social icons) is visible to anyone who visits your linkfy.lol page. All other account data is private and accessible only to you and our admin team.

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us. Upon deletion, your username becomes available for others to claim.

We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, secure password hashing, Content Security Policy headers, and rate limiting. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
